Download Panasonic Lumix G7 Manual User Guide - With the LUMIX DMC-GX7, Panasonic presents sophisticated and ambitious photographers with a new mirrorless micro-four-thirds system camera in a handy compact format. The GX7 combines a compact design, photo technical top performance, and the latest communication technology. This sets a new standard - not only for Micro-Four-Thirds cameras. This applies to recording quality as well as handling and comfort. The LUMIX GX7 guarantees all-round convincing image quality thanks to its outstanding performance in resolution, image generation, and color reproduction. It optimally exploits the potential of the new 16-megapixel resolution digital live MOS sensor with a new sensor architecture and the matching new Venus Engine image processor. It is the first LUMIX G camera to offer optical image stabilization via sensor shift.

The highlight of the LUMIX GX7 equipment is the new integrated Live View Finder (LVF), which can be swiveled upwards by 90°. With a resolution of 2.76 million pixels, it currently holds the record for resolution and image sharpness. At the same time, it facilitates a flexible choice of perspective thanks to its swiveling option. Alternatively, a 7.5cm touchscreen LCD monitor with 1.04 million pixels can be folded up or down for image control and viewing. Thanks to the LUMIX G's first optical image stabilization by sensor shift, the LUMIX GX7 can also be used with lenses without their own image stabilizer, be it with fast Micro-FourThirds lenses, lenses from other manufacturers or lenses from other manufacturers with an adapter that does not have their own image stabilizer. With the fastest shutter speed of only 1/8000s, the GX7 now expands the scope of photographic design, especially when using very bright lenses. In addition, the focus-peaking display function facilitates precise control of the focus.

The quality of video recording also benefits from the improvements of the new Digital Live MOS sensor. The LUMIX GX7 with Full-HD 1,920 x 1,080/50p is up to date. In addition, the cinema look with 24p recording and an image recording rate of 24 Mb/s are available as well as the creative possibilities of the P/A/S/M modes and continuous and tracking AF. The recording is in AVCHD progressive or MP4 format. The contrast AF system of the LUMIX GX7 is characterized by increased speed and precision thanks to a fast digital signal exchange between camera and lens corresponding to 240 fps. With functions such as low-light AF, Pinpoint AF, multi-field AF or spot AF, the AF system can handle a wide variety of subjects. The GX7 with WiFi and NFC (Near Field Communication) technology meets the growing importance of mobile communication. Users can connect the camera to their smartphone or tablet simply by touching the devices, and not just to transfer images. Rather, it is possible to use a smartphone or tablet as a multifunctional remote release and monitor. The Instant Transfer function allows photos to be automatically sent directly to a smartphone/tablet immediately after recording. In addition, photos and videos can be transferred directly to a connected computer via a WLAN home network (router) for backup and be archiving.
