Panasonic GH5S Manual
Download Panasonic LUMIX GH5S Manual that contains information getting started or basic operations, 4k photo and drive settings, playing back and editing an image, using menu functions, using the WIFI or Bluetooth function, how to connecting to other equipment, message display, and troubleshooting. The Panasonic LUMIX GH5S slides to the top with its internal 4K 4:2:2 10-bit video recording capabilities. The 10-bit display allows you to reproduce in detail all the subtleties of a degraded sky or sunset, without the drag effect of the 8-bit display. In addition, you can record 10-bit 4:2:2 video to an SD card while powering the signal live via a full-size HDMI port connected to an external recorder or monitor. 10-bit 4:2:2 recording enables accurate color and shade rendering with over one billion colors and four times the tone of an 8-bit display for professional results. The LUMIX GH5S sensor allows you to shoot in: 4:3, 17:9, 16:9 and 3:2. The recording function without cropping always gives you a perfect focal length. Available in still photography, 4K, C4K video and anamorphic mode, this function allows you to take full advantage of the lens angle of view. A high reading speed can be achieved even when using a larger sensor. Shutter distortion, compared to LUMIX GH5, is reduced by about 1.3x with high playback speeds when recording video or using an electronic shutter.

To increase your creativity, many effects are available on the LUMIX GH5S. This function allows you to record motion pictures in slow motion or accelerated at C4K/4K (max. 60 fps; 2.5x slower) or HD (max. 240 fps; 10x slower). The minimum frame rate for fast motion video effects is 2 fps. The LUMIX GH5S has the ability to reproduce 4:2:2 to 10-bit real-time images on an external monitor or recorder via an HDMI cable (type A, full size, sold as an option) while simultaneously providing 4:2:2 10 bit internal recording. It is particularly suitable for creating professional videos that require accurate imaging tracking or high-quality recording on external codec devices (such as ProRes). A cable lock bracket for the HDMI cable is provided with the LUMIX GH5S to prevent unplanned disconnection problems. The time code can be synchronized with an external device using the supplied BNC conversion cable. This allows easier non-linear editing of images taken with multiple cameras. Line input supported by an audio input for 3.5mm microphone. This allows you to input sounds from an external audio device for more efficient video production.

The LUMIX GH5 had made it possible to record 4K 60 /50p videos on a DLSM camera. The LUMIX GH5S goes even further and for the first time ever includes 4K Cinema (C4K: 4096 x 2160) 60p/50p video recording. In addition, there is no limit to the recording time, not even when shooting FHD or 4K video. Pre-installed V-LogL Video Recording function, a neutral or flat gamma log curve captures high dynamic range images ideal for color calibration. In addition, a new LUT display function helps with exposure adjustment and orientation display. Gamma Logarithmic Hybrid for Video 4K HDR, HDR (High Dynamic Range) is a mode to reproduce both the bright and dark parts of a photo, which gives the appearance of seeing the landscape with our own eyes. You can choose the Gamma logarithmic hybrid in the Photo Style.
