The THX-certified Panasonic DMP-BDT700 reproduces the finely nuanced colors and rich, detailed images exactly as intended by the film director and enables lifelike surround sound. With Panasonic DMP-BDT700 you can enjoy movies at home in the same quality as in the cinema. The new chip Uniphier LSI has a unique image-optimizing technology for converting Blu-ray disc content into 4K images. With its color accuracy and detail in 4K upscaling, the Panasonic DMP-BDT700 convinces even image aesthetes. Its 4K Direct Chroma Up-Conversion converts the Full HD signal with 4:2:0 sampling directly into a 4K signal with 4:4:4 sampling. The Panasonic DMP-BDT700 provides the 4K screen with exact color and brightness information for each pixel.

Another way to enjoy the realistic image quality of a 4K panel is to use your own digital camera. The DMP-BDT700 brings ultra-high resolution JPEGs to the 4K screen, where they can finally show what details they contain. Panasonic Blu-ray recorders, players, and home cinema systems have perfected 3D playback and, in combination with a VIERA 3D TV, offer a fantastically vivid 3D experience. There is enough 3D content because most home entertainment products have a 2D/3D conversion. The 3D effect can also be set as desired for many models.
