Panasonic Lumix FZ1000 Manual
Panasonic presents the new Panasonic Lumix FZ1000 its new compact camera flagship with large 1-inch high-sensitivity MOSSensor and 4K-Videofunktion. Together with the sensor, the new 16-fold Zoom Leica DC-Vario-Elmarit 2.8-4.0 / 25-400mm (KB) is the optical core of the camera and thus guarantees the most demanding picture quality. The 1-inch high-sensitivity MOS sensor with a resolution of 20.1 megapixels improves the signal-to-noise ratio considerably. It allows images with minimal noise even at high ISO values. The newly optimized Venus engine image processor with 4 cores also contributes to this by further optimizing noise reduction. It controls and coordinates technologies such as multi-process NR, random and aperture filters. The result is outstanding image quality in color, sharpness and true-to-detail reproduction over the entire image field.

The Panasonic Lumix FZ1000 offers new performance figures in the response speed. The hybrid contrast AF, known from the GH4, with its DFD (Depth From Defocus) technology and now 49 AF fields, works very precisely and with lightning speed with only 0.09 seconds response time. Together with a switch-on time of only 0.66 seconds, the Panasonic Lumix FZ1000 does not miss a spontaneous snapshot. Standard exposures are possible with 12B / s at full 20-megapixel resolution. The shortest shutter speeds are 1 / 4,000 seconds mechanically and 1 / 16,000 seconds electronically controlled. Another highlight of the Panasonic Lumix FZ1000 is its high-resolution electronic OLEDLive-View viewfinder. The 0.39-inch viewfinder with 2.359.000 image points offers a 100% image overview and relaxed viewing possibilities thanks to its magnification of effectively 0.7x. The mobile 3 "LCD monitor with a resolution of 921,000 pixels can be turned 180 degrees to the side and then rotated by 270 degrees.
The Panasonic Lumix FZ1000 is the first digital compact camera to record 4K video (QFHD 4K: 3.840 x 2.160, up to 25 frames per second in MP4 format). An additional benefit for photographers lies in the possibility of accurately extracting still images in 8-megapixel resolution from the crucial moment of a motion sequence to the second's fraction. In addition, videos can be recorded in full HD 1920x1080 50p in AVCHD progressive format (MPEG-4 H.264) or MP4 format at 50p. Creative video mode, high-speed videos in full-HD with 100 b / s, interval sequences and stop motion animation are available for a versatile video design. The 5-axis hybrid OIS (Optical Image Stabilizer) with active mode effectively compensates for camera shake when shooting from the hand. The Panasonic Lumix FZ1000 is equipped with an integrated WiFi module (IEEE 802.11 b / g / n) and NFC (Near Field Communication) for convenient communication with other devices. It comes with a standard 3.5mm jack for connecting an external stereo microphone. In addition, RAW images can be developed directly in the camera.
