It is characterized by an excellent image quality even in bad light, a better saturation and a stronger blur effect (bokeh). The large sensor gives you the necessary scope for shooting either with the aspect ratios 4:3, 3:2 or 16:9 without restrictions on the image angle. The newly developed LEICA DC Vario-Summilux lens with a focal length range of 24 - 75mm (KB) offers high light intensities of f/1.7-2.8 with excellent detailing and resolution right down to the corners. Nine aperture blades create a practically circular opening with correspondingly beautiful bokeh in the blurred motif areas.

Designed for passionate photographers who want a high-quality picture and video, this Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX100 has a 12.8 MP high sensitivity MOS sensor, in 4/3 format, and a capability to record 4k videos. Its zoom is a Leica DC Vario-Summilux which corresponds in 24x36 to a very versatile 24-75mm f/1.7-2.8. It has an impressive number of modes and programs that provide complete control over the various functions, including a full-definition, 11 I/s burst mode. The video aspect is also very impressive with Full HD of 1920 x 1080 in Progressive AVCHD format or MP4 at 60p, or 4k at 3840 x 2160 pixels at 30 fps. Panasonic also offers a mode called 4k Photo to retrieve an 8 MP image from a 4k video input. The datasheet also announces Wi-Fi and NFC connections and the choice for photos between Jpeg and Raw.
