The Panasonic DMP-UB900 Ultra HD Blu-ray Player with powerful HCX processor captivates with its unique 4K HDR picture quality and thus provides a completely new film experience - exactly according to the director's ideas. The new processor was developed in close collaboration with the Panasonic Hollywood Laboratory. HCX stands for Hollywood Cinema Experience. Thanks to Optimum HDR Processing, the player UHD images also appear bright and detailed in bright summer summers. Details and colors in dark areas are enhanced. The innovative function works dynamically and optimizes the picture quality even when switching between bright and dark scenes. The new standard for Ultra HD Blu-ray discs. With a resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels, a brightness range of between 1,000 and 10,000-nit (HDR) and a significantly extended color space (BT.2020), the newly produced 4K discs offer an unprecedented wealth of image information. The UB900 is able to play true 4K content in full resolution and brings with its extraordinary video processing a maximum degree of detail richness and color brilliance from the new Ultra HD Blu-ray format. The result: an unrivaled picture quality of the next generation.

The applied technologies for Panasonic's unique 4K High-Precision Chroma processing come directly from the Panasonic Hollywood Laboratory, the basis of Panasonic's Blu-ray Disc research and development. Thanks to the high-performance processor, the original 4K signals (4: 2: 0) are interpolated into a still detailed signal output (4: 4: 4) by a multi-tap chroma process, thus gaining even greater depth and naturalness. The Panasonic DMP-UB900, certified with the THX seal, reproduces the finely nuanced colors and rich, detailed pictures exactly as the film director intends and allows for live surround sound. This gives your home cinema an experience at cinema level. The Panasonic DMP-UB900 can not only play 4K material from Ultra HD Blu-ray Discs. It is also capable of playing hours of 4K UHD streams as they are now increasingly available via Video-on-Demand (VOD). In this way, you can enjoy particularly sophisticated and critically acclaimed series of fantastic 4K picture quality. Use your large UHD TV screen and indulge in memorable travels or happy moments with family and friends. With the Panasonic DMP-UB900, you can play ultra-high-definition videos (mp4) or photos (jpeg) that you recorded with your camera or a camcorder yourself in 4K resolution on a corresponding TV.
