The power outlet must be installed near the equipment and shall be easily accessible. To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock or damage to the product, do not expose this unit to rain, moisture, dripping or splashing. Use only the recommended accessories. Do not remove covers. You yourself do not repair this unit. Consult a qualified service technician. Do not install or place this unit in a library, Cabinet built-in or in another confined space. Make sure that the unit is well ventilated. AC adapter AC adapter East works with AC 110V and 240V. Precautions of use; Do not use any other USB cable connection except the supplied cable or an original Panasonic USB connection cable (DMW-USBC1: optional). Always use an original Panasonic AV cable (DMW-AVC1: optional). Use a logo "HDMI micro HDMI high speed". Cables that do not meet HDMI standards will not work. "High-speed micro HDMI cable" (type D type A, up to 2 m (6.6 ft) long). Keep this unit as far as possible from electromagnetic equipment (such as ovens, microwaves, televisions, video games, etc.). If you use this unit on top of or near a television, the images and sound of this unit may be interrupted by electromagnetic wave radiation. Do not use this unit near cell phones because doing so may result in noise that negatively affects the images and/or sound. The recorded data may be damaged or the images may be distorted by strong magnetic fields created by loudspeakers or large motors. Electromagnetic radiation can negatively affect this unit, altering the images and/or sound. If this unit is adversely affected by electromagnetic equipment and stops working properly, turn off this unit and remove the battery or disconnect the AC adapter (supplied). Then reinsert the battery or reconnect the AC adapter and turn on this unit.
Keep the camera away from vibrations, forces or excessive pressures. The camera is not resistant to dust, splash or water. Avoid using the camera in places with excessive dust or sand, or where water may come into contact with the camera. Do not allow the camera to come into contact with pesticides or volatile substances (can cause damage to the surface or coating to peel). Condensation can occur when the camera is exposed to sudden changes in temperature or humidity. Avoid these conditions, that may make the lens, LCD monitor or the viewfinder dirty, cause rust or damage the camera. If condensation occurs, turn the camera off and wait for approximately two hours before use. Once the camera is set to the ambient temperature, the fog will disappear naturally.
